Renovating a house is of course a daunting project, but I completely underestimated how much work would go in to getting my shell of a house looking in any way like a home. I decided that I would rip out all of the old cabinets and wardrobes myself, and call in the builders once the whole place had been gutted. I needed a skip to put all of the waste in, so I called on  www.skipsforhirenorthlondon.co.uk, who my new next door neighbour had recommended. They delivered the skip right on time and all of their services were provided at a really reasonable price. Getting all of the old stuff out of the house was really exhausting, especially seeing as I was pulling up the floor as well! But at least I had my handy skip in the drive so I could just through everything that I needed to into it.

Skip hire may not be one of the most exciting things to write a blog about, but I had to tell everybody about the fantastic service that I received from www.skiphireinsouthlondon.co.uk. After my husband was made redundant, we realised that he could either stay miserable and find another job that he hated, or we could do something radical and exciting. We have family in Australia who have such a fantastic quality of life and are always trying to get us over there so we thought, why don’t we just move there? My husband received a very generous redundancy packet and our children are still young enough to not mind so much if they leave their friends for a new country, so we decided to just do it. (more…)
