After my divorce, I had given up on meeting anyone again. That perhaps sounds dramatic, but the divorce was far from amicable and I swore off serious relationships. This time last year, I decided to take a holiday on my own to recover from the stressful divorce proceedings. I went away to Italy and on the first night I was there I met Silvano. It was a complete whirlwind and we were married within the month, crazy I know! I was so caught up in the romance of everything that I didn’t even ask any of those normal questions about jobs and stuff, but I found out soon enough that I had married a member of the Italian aristocracy! We decided to move to London together and Silvano suggested that we design and build the house of our dreams.
