Masquerade Ball

Monday, March 14th, 2011

When the company that I work for made records profits for the financial year, they decided to throw a masquerade ball for all of the staff at Head Office. It all sounded so glamorous! I found a great dress to wear, but I wanted to find a really dramatic masquerade mask that I could wear. I really wanted the mask to match my dress, so I needed to find a company who sold a wide range of masks. I looked online and found www.masquerademasksnorthlondon.co.uk, a company who offer a fantastic range of masks. My boyfriend was coming to the ball with me, and we found a great suit to wear from www.mensclothinghighwycombe.co.uk. He looked so smart!

Fancy dress outfits in South London

Monday, March 14th, 2011

I went to university in Durham, and because they are hardly any places to go out in the little picturesque town, my friends and I kept ourselves amused by having fancy dress nights out. Even though we have all moved down to London now, we still enjoy having the odd fancy dress night. As we are all working now, our outfits have become a bit more extravagant, and we all really get into it. Last month my friend had a Superhero themed party, and it was so much fun. I decided to stick with an old favourite, and went as Superman. I got my costume from a fantastic company, www.fancydresscostumessouthlondon.co.uk. They had so many costumes on offer, but I decided that I’d stick with my decision.

Fancy dress wigs in Central London

Monday, March 14th, 2011

I have to admit that when my friend told me that she was planning a ‘Caveman and Cavegirl’ themed birthday party, I was not that excited. I am always amazed by the amount of effort that people put into fancy dress, and I end up feeling left out as I’ve done the bare minimum! This time, I decided to go all out and make a big effort. I found a great dress to wear, but I still needed something else. Luckily I found www.fancydresswigscentrallondon.co.uk. There was the most perfect wig that was bunches with a bone through the top.

Masquerade masks in South West London

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

I have always loved going to a good party so when I got my invite to a fancy dress in South West London you can imagine my excitement! I have seen many American programmes on television whereby the characters get to go to masquerade balls in the most gorgeous dresses and mask their identity with a chosen mask. I have decided on an American theme for my fancy dress party and would love to find one of those masquerade masks to where on the night. I love the way it adds a mysterious feel to the outfit!

Whilst I was at University I used to use a website at www.masquerademaskssouthwestlondon.co.uk which was brilliant for all things a little flamboyant and mysterious! Because I didn’t want to leave my outfit until the last minute.

Fancy dress outfits in South West London

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

My mate had been planning a surprise 30th for his girlfriend for months. It was all booked and paid for, the food was sorted and with just a couple of weeks to go, everyone was getting excited. That was until Kim announced one evening that she had always wanted a fancy dress party. Panic stations.

All of a sudden all 50-odd guests had to come up with costumes for the party of the century. My first port of call was www.fancydressoutfitssouthwestlondon.co.uk, where I hoped I would find something to blow away the competition. (more…)

Fancy dress wigs south west London

Friday, November 26th, 2010

I love my sister, but when she announced that her wedding was going to have a fancy dress theme I wanted to kill her. As chief bridesmaid I’d had visions of gorgeous flowing gowns and beautiful curly hair, and now I was going to have to dress up as Daphne from Scooby Doo or something equally ridiculous.

I racked my brain to try and think of something which would fit in with the fancy dress theme but still be cool and sexy, and the ideas just weren’t coming. Eventually I decided on an ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’ policy, and went all out to dress as The Wicked Witch of the West, from the Wizard of Oz. I would paint myself green and get a gown, and go to http://www.fancydresswigssouthwestlondon.co.uk/ for my wig. (more…)
