Dating After Divorce

Saturday, August 13th, 2011

I would be lying if I said that my divorce from my wife was amicable; we had been married for two years when the spark started to leave our relationship, but we stayed together for another six years trying to make it work. After all of the time that we have wasted when we should have broken up years ago, we were both very angry and resented each other. It was both of our faults, but we still couldn’t help but feel angry at each other. I was lucky that my solicitor from www.divorcesolicitorislington.co.uk was able to get the divorce finalised quickly and with minimal fuss. It’s great that it’s all over, but I hope that in the future my ex-wife and I will be able to look back at the good times in our relationship.

Finally!

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

It is finally happening after decades of saving and hoping… I am about to open the bakery that I have always wanted to own! I have been working in other peoples shops for years, knowing that I could do it better, but finances have always held me back. Now all of my years saving have paid off, and I've got everything ready to go, I just need to sort out a few finishing touches.

I have always wanted everything in my bakery to be baby blue, so I needed a sign to match. I look online and found www.signmakerscroydon.co.uk, and called them to tell them about the sign that I wanted. They were really helpful and helped me choose just the kind of sign that I wanted. It arrived this moring and it looks fantastic, i can't wait to put it up at the front of my bakery.

There are so many little things that you forget to take care of. One of those things for me was key cutting. I only had one set of keys for me, and hadn't arranged to get any for my staff. I asked one of the girls that I will be working with to wait to pick up a delivery for me at the shop, but I forgot to give her any keys. I had to rush to www.keycuttinglondonbridge.co.uk to get a set cut for her. Thank goodness they offer such an efficient and reliable service, I would have been in big trouble if I hadn't have gotten her those keys!

Currency And Security

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

As I work in the fabric trade industry, I spent a lot of time abroad. When I’m away I have to make sure that my business premises are left locked up and as safe as possible. We don’t keep money in the building, but we have had several incidents when we have been broken into and needed extra security. I looked into installing CCTV systems, but I realised that maybe the best thing to do would be to get a secure door that couldn’t be broken into. I looked online and found a great company who would be able to help, www.steelshutterscentrallondon.co.uk. They have a wealth of experience manufacturing and installing steel doors for a wide variety of businesses. They came to install the door and had everything safe and secure in next to no time. It has really offered me peace of mind for when I go away in the future.

Charity Work Abroad

Monday, May 9th, 2011

I have always known from a very early age that I would be a doctor. I finished school last year and go the A-level results that I needed, but I decided to postpone my studies for a year and take a gap year. After planning a ski season, I decided that I wanted to spend a few months doing good, and learning more about the profession which I wish to work in in the future. I found a programme in India, where I would be able to help sick children in an orphanage, and was delighted when I heard that I had got onto it. I had a great time on my ski season, but when I came back there were a lot of things to arrange before I went to India. I needed shots for various diseases, so I went to my local doctors, www.doctorssurgerywandsworth.co.uk, to arrange the shots.

Round The World Trip

Monday, May 9th, 2011

My Mum has been saying that she is going to go on a round the world trip for years, but I don’t think that any of us actually thought that she would do it! At Christmas she announced that she had booked her ticket and would be leaving at the end of April for 6 months. We were all so pleased that she had finally decided to do it, but none of us expected the manic planning that took place throughout the whole of April. She is usually very organised, but I think that anyone would get a bit stressed and daunted if they had to arrange their life for the next 6 months! I was in charge of arranging the currency for her first month away, while my brother spent hours searching for the best luggage for her. I have always used www.bureaudechangecoventgarden.co.uk, because they really do offer fantastic rates. I told them what I needed and they gave the exceptional service that they are known for. I managed to arrange all of the money that my Mum needed.
