It’s Monday again. Where on earth did the weekend go?

This weekend particularly seems to have flown for me as it’s been non-stop. I went to a friend’s party on Saturday night at their home in Bedford for a few glasses of wine and a catch up with some old friends. (more…)

We had been um-ing and ah-ing for years over whether or not to get a conservatory. We could certainly use the extra space, but at the same time, we didn’t want to be one of those people who ‘had a conservatory,’ if you know what I mean!

I had been thinking for a long time that I needed a new bed. Mine had been on its last legs when I inherited it from my brother three years ago, but just recently it had started making terrible straining noises everytime I rolled over in my sleep. It woke me up, which was unacceptable as far as I was concerned.

The straw that broke the camel’s back came when I was woken up in the middle of the night by a large crack, which left me suddenly lying in a deep gorge which had been created in the middle of my bed. In my dreams I live in a huge stately home with gorgeous expensive furniture which is cleaned every day by staff who also wait on me hand and foot. In reality, I lived in a terraced house in Cheshunt, my furniture was looking a little ropey, and I couldn’t afford to get a new three-piece suite

I have been within my current employment for the past five years since the company was founded. I love my job and I almost feel attached to the company because I have been there from the very beginning!

I know it probably sounds silly but the people I have worked with too have also become very close friends of mine as we have experiences the highs and lows of the company together. However, I am pleased to say that the company has increased in size dramatically and we are therefore looking at getting a new development built in order for the company to have the resource to continue to grow.

I was looking to move up to Huddersfield because of work and I wondered what sort of properties would be available to rent. I didn’t know if I wanted a flat, a house, or even a shared arrangement, so I went online, searched for Lettings Huddersfield and www.lettingshuddersfield.co.uk popped up.

It’s that time of year again when the cross words commence in homes about the very emotive issue of the heating! There is often a group looking to get the heating on and a second party fighting to save money. Having bought some new vinyl flooring in Essex last weekend, I thought rather than paying for somebody else to come and fix the flooring, I’d have a go at doing it myself the cheaper way!

I bought the vinyl flooring in Essex from a company which supplies all sorts of flooring for both business and personal use. Upon asking the man on the till whether the flooring was easy to fit, he replied that it was and I should try it!
