I moved into my boyfriend’s after three years together earlier this month. He had been living with his brother before and the house was very male. It needed some serious feminising, not least in the horrible old bathroom.

Ever since we got this house, around 20 years ago, we’ve had that same rugged, old fashioned bathroom. I honestly cannot explain to you how horrendous it is!

It has these green coloured, patterned tiles which look like something from the 1900’s and on top of that, the bathroom furniture slightly represents a mouldy yellow colour. Honestly, as bad as it sounds…it is! (more…)

Finally we decided that the time had come to put in our own ensuite bathroom, strictly not for the kids. We employed a local builder to do the job and told him we wanted an adults-only, luxurious look for our bathroom. (more…)
