Bathroom Refurbishment in Hinckley

I have been pondering getting our bathroom refurbished for a long long time now! It’s just been one of those things which is on you’re list of things to do, but just never seems to happen! In our house, there is a lot of things that seem to take priority over the next.

But, the other day, I was having a bath and looking round the bathroom in the process. I couldn’t believe how bad it had got to looking! I mean, the tiles look so dated, they look like they could be vintage. Our bathroom furniture is definitely not pleasing to the eye, and having a carpet in our bathroom is meant to be unhygienic too. So, all in all, probably not the best bathroom going.

My husband is an electrician and whilst he’s good a manual work, I think doing our bathroom would be too much of a job alongside his other main clients. After he has had a big job on at the minute, we have some spare cash to finally spend on the bathroom and making it look luxury rather than lame!

Being a typical woman, I jumped straight on the internet and found a website called www.bathroomrefurbishmenthinckley.co.uk. I can’t tell you how excited I got when I saw all of the bathrooms that were available. Obviously, a lot of them were way out of our budget but it was definitely worth taking a look! (more…)

Travertine Tiles for bathrooms

I was fitting out a bathroom for a lady who wanted a very natural but expensive-looking design.

I’d heard about travertine tiles and an interior designer friend of mine suggested I used a combination of light travertine, noce travertine and silver travertine tiles to create the perfect design. (more…)
