‘Dad’, my son shouted, ‘the PS3 is not working!’
‘Have you told your mother?’ I shouted back.
‘Yes, but she told me to have a word with you,’ came the reply.
This is fairly typical of what goes on in our household. I am often told I am useless by my wife and that I don’t know what I am talking about, by my children. But when anything goes wrong they believe I have the brains and the know how to fix it.
So I did what I always do, got in touch with someone who would know.
I looked on the Internet for PS3 repairs in Central London and contacted a couple of companies who listed PS3 repairs as one of their specialities.
Having talked it over with one company, they asked me to drop it of and they’d sort it out for me.
My son was disappointed that he would be without his precious PS3 for a few days.
‘What am I meant to do know,’ he asked in that teenage stroppy voice.
‘I don’t know,’ I replied, ‘ask your mother!’
