I had to laugh at a quote I saw the other day. It said that you have to be nice to your children as they choose your nursing home. There has never been a truer word spoken in jest!

I was actually looking at nursing homes in Eastbourne for my aging mother. Having no experience in this sector, I was pleasantly surprised at the high standards and excellent facilities available.

I suppose with the demographics of the area you would expect nursing homes in Eastbourne to be good, after all there is a lot of competition.

I was particularly impressed with the level of care and support given to residents and the activities that are planned to ensure they are kept active and entertained.

The buildings are also magnificent and designed to make it easy for residents to get around. They have also invested a great deal of money on all the latest equipment and facilities.

The staff are also extremely knowledgeable and friendly too.

My perception about nursing homes in Eastbourne before I began my research has changed considerably for the better.

I am still going to be nice to my children, mind you!
