Hairdressers in Southend
Whilst I am definitely no expert when it comes to hairdressing – just like anyone, I know when my hair is in need for a good cut and colour.
Since coming back from my holiday last month, my hair has gone into a sorry state of its own. In one word, it’s uncontrollable! I’m not sure whether it was the chlorine in the pool or the heat from the sun, but my hair has gone frizzy, unsightly and dull.
I’ve been looking for good hairdressers in Southend for ages now. In my opinion, good hairdressers are few and far between. Whilst so many of them qualify as skilled hairdressers, many of them don’t have the experience to back it up and you end up leaving the salon with your hair looking worse than it did when you went in! Or is that just me?
I remember going to a hairdressers in Southend once and coming out feeling like I wanted to cry. Maybe I’m being a wuss, but I’m sure most people will agree with me that their hair is a major feature that has to look the part. This salon in particular was an experience in itself. The so called ‘studio’ was actually a small, clammy room which you could hardly breathe in, let alone relax.
But the cut and colour was in a league of its own. Upon asking for a fringe, I was cut a wavy piece of hair, which came to the middle of my forehead and looked like a bowl had been placed around my head. Needless to say, I didn’t go there again!
I have booked myself in for another hair appointment at a local salon in Southend. Hopefully this time, I’ll be coming away with a smile and my hair cut in straight lines!
