I was a little bit insulted a few weeks ago when my girlfriend commented that she didn't like all my body hair and suggested that I wax. She even went so far as to suggest a salon I could visit. I actually took her advice and went along to www.malewaxingleicester.co.uk
First of all I have to say that it hurt – a lot more than I was expecting. Having said that the results are pretty amazing and my girlfriend is thrilled with the results. Personally I am not too sure about all this male grooming stuff, but if it keeps her happy then that's all that matters. I may take a bit of stick from my mates about it, but I guess that's only to be expected. I would do the same.
My girlfriend is now suggesting we go to a spa or salon together for treatments. I am not sure I am up for that yet. She has found a good place for Reiki massage called www.reikimassagebirmingham.co.uk
Now I have not had a complete personality transplant and while I was happy to go along with a bit of male waxing, I am not convinced about doing much more. I don't feel the need to have all these 'fluffy' treatments. I am sure my girlfriend will keep trying to convince me otherwise, but we will see who wins out in the end.

I have always been someone who enjoys treating themselves, and I look for any excuse to head to www.beautysalonswalsall.co.uk for the latest beauty treatments. They always offer a fantastic service. I had a big charity dinner to attend, so I went to see them for a facial and a massage. All of the beauty therapists are very professional and friendly.

I have always been very keen to try different forms of exercise so that my workouts don’t become stale and boring. A couple of years ago I lost a lot of weight and I am much happier these days so I try and do all that I can to make sure that I stay fit and healthy. It is hard to keep the momentum going sometimes, but by trying new things I have managed to keep on top of my exercise plan.
Last month I went to www.reformerpilatesfulham.co.uk to try a new form of Pilates where you use a machine to help you get the optimum exercise. I have to admit that I was a bit dubious to start with, but after my first session was over I knew that this was something that I had to try again. The machines really push you so that you get the optimum stretch. I was aching very badly the next day, but it was worth it.

Since having my baby I have been finding life very stressful and I am constantly tired and agitated. Although I love her very much it is always a relief when I get a minute to myself to relax or sleep! I started to notice dark circles under my eyes and my skin looked pale and tired. I had never had a facial before so I wasn't sure what to expect when my friend recommended http://www.environtreatmentsnorthlondon.co.uk/ but I went along the next day and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and made me feel very comfortable.
My facial was so relaxing I fell asleep! The creams they used felt great on my skin and I even purchased some myself to use at home. I left feeling completely relaxed and my skin felt lovely and smooth, my friends commented on my face the next day saying I had a healthy glow. I will definitely be going to World Of Beauty By Katy again, I have already booked myself in for a massage next week, it's a great excuse to get out of the house and I return calm and stress free.

One of my best friends is getting married next week, and I have decided to use it as an excuse to get a lot of beauty treatments done! I love being pampered, and I thought that now would be as good a time as any to have as many treatments as I can. I feel a bit guilty sometimes when I treat myself to facials and manicures for no particular reason, so when it’s for a special occassion, I really go to town! I have always loved www.beautytherapistsedinburgh.co.uk, so I decided to book in some neaty treatments with them before the wedding. I want to look myself, so I have had a facial and massage already, and next week I am going for a manicure and a pedicure. I’m also going there for some waxing treatmments, but I’m trying not to think about that!

I had a nasty accident last year which left me on crutches for a few months and unable to exercise. I had to miss a lot of time off work and became quite depressed. It’s not much fun when you are stuck at home unable to do very much. I couldn’t drive, which meant I had to rely on family and friends or public transport and taxis for getting around: again not much good when you are on crutches and find it very difficult to get around. Thankfully I am now more mobile, but I have put on a fair amount of weight and lost a lot of tone in my muscles. I need to exercise and lose weight. A friend put me in touch with http://www.weightlossdaventry.co.uk/ Read the rest of this entry »

I was never one to get stressed. No matter what has been going on I’ve always been quite calm and collected about it all. Recently, though, I’ve found myself getting wound up about silly things at work, or shouting at the kids for no real reason other than they’re being a bit annoying.
It was my wife who noticed it first, as I was acting so unlike myself. She said I should try www.stressmanagementhitchin.co.uk to see if they could show me how to calm down a little and manage my stress a bit better. Read the rest of this entry »

When my friend at work asked me for a recommendation for a hairdresser I panicked big time. I hate giving recommendations, as even if you think something is brilliant, the other person might hate it and then all hell could break loose. It’s not worth it!
However, after much badgering I passed on the details for my own hairdressers, as I’ve always been very pleased with the results I’ve had when I’ve been there. Hopefully http://www.hairsalonroyston.co.uk/ would not let my friend down either! Read the rest of this entry »

I had suffered from severe headaches since I was a teenager, but had learned to live with the problem. I’d been to see countless doctors about the problem, and I’d lost count of the amount of times they had sent me through for CT scans, but they had never been able to discover what the problem was.
It was my wife who suggested I went for acupuncture in the end. I think she was so sick of my whining that she was looking for any port in a storm. She booked me an appointment at www.acupuncturetherapyhertford.co.uk. Read the rest of this entry »

My sister was getting married and I was in a serious hair dilemma. My shoulder length mousy locks were just getting too boring and I just didn’t think they would cut the mustard on the wedding photos.
I had a couple of days off work before the wedding to help her sort things out in the run up to the big day and I thought it would be the perfect chance to get a new wedding do. The problem was that I lived in Manchester and she lived in Cheshunt, so I didn’t know any hairdressers in the area.
The internet was the answer. I searcher for stylists in Cheshunt and www.hairdresserscheshunt.co.uk came up. Read the rest of this entry »
