St Clare Hospice launches ‘fill a tin’ fundraiser

Restaurants in Harlow and pubs in Harlow are doing their bit for charity with the St Clare Hospice’s ‘Fill a Tin in February’ challenge. The hospice are hoping to raise £5,000 to help with the local Hastingwood hospice’s £2.6m running costs every year.

Renovation work starts on Stortford pub

Work has begun to renovate one of the most iconic pubs in Bishop’s Stortford; the art deco Nag’s Head.

The Grade II listed building in Dunmow Road will be officially re-launched soon, and contractors from New World Builders are currently refurbishing the building.

Herts based brewery McMullen has taken over the pub after several months of closure.
