Amanda’s top snapper with two winning shots

The Harlow Observer’s Photo of the Month competition (which invites photographers in Bishops Stortford to share their work with the town), has found a winner for 2010; the very talented amateur photographer Amanda Barker.

Amanda, who won for her photo in last January ‘Icicles’, won once again in September for her entry ‘Sweets’. Professional photographers in Bishops Stortford, Thomas and Adriana Potts, of Catchlight Art Photography, judged the competition.

Second taste of sweet success for Amanda

Photographers in Bishop’s Stortford have been showing off their talents in the Herts and Essex Observer Photo of the Month competition. This month the very talented amateur photographer Amanda Barker won for a second time with her still life shot entitled ‘Sweets’. The 45 year old mother of two, who has worked on her photography skills at a local evening course, also won back in January 2010 with a stunning picture of the winter icicles in her garden.
