For some reason when I was little, I always used to want to be in one of those families which had a skip on the driveway. It never occurred to me that they might have hired the skip while they were having some work done, or that they were clearing out. I thought they were just exciting people who needed a skip.

When I grew up a bit, I realised that this wasn’t the case, but I still wanted to have a skip on my driveway at some point in my life. The time came when we redid the kitchen.
