Friday, January 14th, 2011I remember someone telling me that ironing was the worst household chore they ever faced. I didn’t believe them at the time. I was a student living in clothes which often went unwashed for days. Ironing was really not at the top of my priority list.
Then I got married and had children. As mountains of tiny clothes and work outfits came through the wash I realised that this woman had, in fact been very wise.
