Sometimes I think that I would forget my head if it wasn’t screwed on! Scatty is the perfect word to describe me. I just forget everything that I’m meant to do. I really don’t mean to, but I understand why people get annoyed with me sometimes. My boyfriend and I have just moved in together, and he was completely appalled at how messy I am. I lived with  a flatmate who bordered on having OCD in my old flat, so somehow I had managed to hide my messy habits from my boyfriend for our whole relationship. I don’t mean to create a mess everywhere, I just don’t seem to be able to find the time to prioritise cleaning. I swore I would never get a cleaner. It always seemed so elitist and wrong to employ someone to clean my mess. It would have felt like having a servant in Victorian times. I thought it would feel so uncomfortable and awkward.

I’ve come to the conclusion that carpet cleaning in Cambridge is a complete disaster! I’ve been trying to find a reliable carpet cleaner for what seems like months now.

I found a carpet cleaners in the local newspapers last week and arranged a time and date for them to come round at the weekend. So, I waited in on the Saturday for the cleaner to arrive and he simply never did! What a waste of a day.
