This year seems to have gone faster than any other year for me. I started my own business up around two years ago now and the level of customer interest has completely taken me by surprise.

I think when anybody starts up a business, you expect there to be a niche in the market for the business to ultimately be a success. In my case, I did expect consumer interest but not on the level I have experienced for the past year or so.

The business I operate is a carpet company. When I started the business I expected it to be difficult to a certain extent as there are so many big competitors in the industry that it’s hard to make your stamp on the market.

After doing so well for a while now, I really want to push through the recession and have started looking at advertising in Leeds. More specifically, I’d love to look at television advertising as I’m a firm believer that this is one of the most effective forms of advertising.

Wherever we go, whatever we do, there seems to be signs everywhere. From banner advertisements to taxi advertising, it seems that we cannot live without a crystal clear reminder of what is going on in the world.

I have owned a small florists in Edinburgh now for some time. I love the job and as we have expanded, we have grown to offer a mobile flower delivery service with our goods. I have found it a great way to enchant customers and fight off the tough competition in the Edinburgh City Centre. (more…)
