I have just re-located to Burton for a new job. There were a few law jobs in Burton going at the time of my epic search for a job. I really like the place and got a lovely place quite near to the Law Firm I am working in the centre of Burton.

The only thing was that I didn’t know a soul when I moved here; the only people I had met were the people interviewing me. You don’t get much of a chance to socialise or meet people with the hours I have to put in either.

I was really pleased when two of the lads from my work asked me for a drink after work. We went to a sports bar and had a couple of beers. They turned out to be a really good laugh and really down to earth. One of them is absolutely outrageous and certainly knows how to have a good time. They are single like me so I’m in good company.

We now go out a couple of times a week, just once during the week though. I can’t cope with the hangover the next day at work. It didn’t look good all three of us looking like death either.

My sister has been down a couple of times to visit me in Burton. She has met my new friends and thinks they are fabulous too.
